Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll lead our global People Operations, Payroll and Total Rewards capabilities across Europe, North America and APJ. With ~300 employees across 18 countries, the challenge is not simply to build more People infrastructure — it’s to build smarter infrastructure. You’ll help create a scalable, technology- and AI-first People operating model that combines strong regional execution with effective systems, automation, and agentic AI. This is a builder and player-coach role. You’ll be expected to challenge how work gets done, simplify before adding complexity, automate before adding headcount, and build the People capabilities needed to support Filigran’s next stage of growth. 💼 Your Responsibilities Lead and scale global People Operations, continuously building and improving the operating model, team and infrastructure required to support Filigran’s next stage of growth across Europe, North America, APJ and beyond. Lead and develop our regional People Ops and Payroll teams, creating clear accountability, strong regional expertise and consistent global execution, with a strong focus on employee lifecycle experience. Build and continuously optimize an AI-first People operating model through process automation that simplifies and systemizes repeatable work; agentic AI that autonomously handles complex, low-risk, multi-step workflows requiring reasoning, decisions and escalation; and an integrated People technology ecosystem that connects systems, workflows and data into scalable infrastructure. Own global payroll operations, working with internal specialists and external providers to ensure accuracy, strong controls and timely multi-country execution. Own global Total Rewards operations, including compensation cycles, benchmarking, benefits, equity reporting and vendor management, in partnership with the CPO on strategy. Oversee global employment compliance and mobility, including regional compliance, immigration, EORs and entity-related People requirements, leveraging local experts and counsel where appropriate. Use People data and insights to proactively identify organizational trends, risks and opportunities, translating them into practical actions for leaders and the wider People team. Support organizational design and workforce planning, bringing data, organizational insight and implementation capability to CPO-led decisions. Support managers on routine performance, employee relations, workforce matters and organizational change.
