This is a multifaceted role, offering exposure to&nbsp;<strong data-start="381" data-end="450">financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning</strong>.</p> <p data-start="658" data-end="935">The ideal candidate combines strong accounting skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset. You will take ownership of core accounting processes, support financial audits, and help shape financial controls as we scale in a fast-paced, international environment.</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Key Responsibilities:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>Independent financial accounting</p> <ul> <li>Independent handling of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including incoming and outgoing invoices as well as bank transactions</li> <li>Independent management of the accounts receivable and accounts payable mailboxes and proactive resolution of customer and supplier inquiries</li> <li>Independent management and control of company expenses via our global expense management tool ‘Payhawk’</li> <li>Reconciliation, clarification and monitoring of open items&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Ownership of the month-end close</p> <ul> <li>Independent preparation of statutory monthly filings, including VAT returns and the required statistical and foreign-trade reporting</li> <li>Recording and posting of fixed assets</li> <li>Independent posting of recurring transactions as well as prepaid and deferred items (accruals)</li> <li>Preparation of monthly analyses and independent handling of ad-hoc requests&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Preparation of statutory financial statements</p> <ul> <li>Independent preparation of single-entity statutory financial statements under local GAAP, including notes and the management report</li> <li>Independent preparation and commentary of closing documents for internal and external recipients</li> <li>Assessment and accounting treatment of complex transactions in accordance with the applicable accounting standards&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Support on tax matters</p> <ul> <li>Contributing to ongoing tax matters, in particular corporate income tax and trade tax as well as withholding tax on cross-border payments</li> <li>Support in preparing documentation for national and international tax returns</li> <li>Collaboration with external tax advisors and the group tax function&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Year-end close and audits</p> <ul> <li>Independent preparation and support of the year-end close and acting as the central point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities</li> <li>Independent compilation of vouchers and supporting documentation for audit requests</li> <li>Development of analyses, documentation and position papers on accounting and tax matters</li> <li>Technical guidance and support of colleagues in day-to-day operation</li> </ul> <p>Project work: Automation and digitalisation</p> <ul> <li>Active involvement in projects relating to
