Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale. In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception. In short We're looking for a Video Lead to shoot and edit for tem. Full-time, £70,000, based anywhere in the UK with shoots around the country. tem connects businesses directly with the renewable generators that power them, which makes it an unusually diverse thing to film: solar and wind sites, the people who run them, the businesses buying from them, and the engineers building the technology in between. Here's some of what we've made so far: here, here, here and here. The work we want to make Two kinds of video, held to the same standard. Considered films, where pacing, sound and framing carry the story and every shot is there for a reason. The kind someone who has never thought about energy watches to the end, because they've started to care about the person in it. And social pieces that aren't templates: short cuts made with real intent, where the rhythm, timing, sound design and effects all serve the idea. Native to the platform, unmistakably crafted. You'll move between the two in the same week without either one slipping. If you're freelance - most of the best shooter-editors work for themselves, and we understand why. Here's what we'd want you to know. This isn't corporate video. Generator stories, customer films, policy explainers, engineering pieces and people-led series - a social series one week, a customer film the next. When it's worth moving fast, we can go from idea to published within a week, if that’s what we collectively decide. You'd be building something, not borrowing it. Rather than picking up someone else's style for a few weeks, you'd shape what tem's video looks and feels like, and build a body of work around it over years. You're expected, and encouraged, to argue when you see a better way. Fewer feedback rounds. One brand, one small team, and a direct line to whoever wrote the brief. You learn tem once, properly. What you'll own tem's video from first shot to final export: how it's planned, shot and cut, and how it looks and sounds across everything we publish.
