As AI agents move from prototypes to production, developers need reliable systems for orchestrating workflows, coordinating models, executing tools, and managing long-running state. Our goal is to provide the platform and abstractions that make building production-ready agentic applications as simple as deploying any modern software service.</p> <p>We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build the backend systems that power Lightning AI's agent platform. You'll work on orchestration frameworks, tool execution, workflow management, memory and state handling, and developer-facing APIs that enable customers to build sophisticated AI applications with confidence.</p> <p>You'll partner closely with engineers across Core Platform, Training &amp; Experimentation, Sandboxes, and Optimized Compute to deliver platform capabilities that are reliable, scalable, and intuitive for developers.</p> <p><em>This role is based in one of our San Francisco, NYC, or London office hubs, with a minimu
