You set and hold the baselines, run change control with the engineering teams, and keep every drawing, document and software release traceable to the product it describes. You join a new configuration management team in Systems Engineering that is growing, with room for you to take on more responsibility.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The role sits between systems engineering, hardware and software development, production, quality and logistics support. Our products move from design iteration to series production quickly and under the scrutiny of defence customers and authorities, so you build configuration management that holds up in a customer audit and keeps pace with engineering.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Configuration management governance</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own the configuration management plan and process in line with SAE EIA-649C, ISO 10007 and STANAG 4427, and tailor them per product and customer.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Teach engineers to raise, assess and close changes themselves, so you are not needed at every step.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work closely with engineers so their work meeting configuration standards.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Identification and baselines</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Define configuration items, part numbering and product structure in our PLM system.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish the functional, allocated and product baselines at the design reviews and keep them under control.</span></li> <li style
