Empower data transformation through modern, AI-enabled ways of working.</strong></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>Capco is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead and deliver complex data architecture initiatives across our Wealth &amp; Asset Management clients. In this senior consulting role, you will guide wealth managers, asset managers, and private banks through large-scale data transformation journeys – defining enterprise data strategies, designing target architectures, and building scalable, cloud-based platforms that support advisor and client experiences, investment analytics, regulatory reporting, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Alongside client delivery, you will contribute to evolving Capco’s Wealth &amp; Asset Management data architecture propositions and thought leadership in modern, cloud-native data ecosystems, exploring how approved AI tools, including Generative AI and Agentic AI where appropriate, can improve insight, productivity, and delivery while maintaining human oversight and responsible AI guardrails.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead agile consulting engagements delivering modern data architecture and cloud transformation across Wealth &amp; Asset Management, using approved AI-enabled workflows and automation where appropriate to improve delivery speed, quality, and insight.</p> </li> <li> <p>Define and implement scalable enterprise data strategies spanning programmes and business units, including canonical WAM data domains and models across client/household, portfolio/account, holdings/transactions, instruments and pricing, performance, and fees.</p> </li> <li> <p>Architect and deliver cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) that enable advisor/client journeys and advanced investment analytics, including risk, performance and reporting, while defining integration patterns across core WAM platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Establish robust data quality, reconciliation and control frameworks, alongside master and reference data strategies aligned to governance, metadata, privacy and stewardship, with appropriate audit trails, review and escalation pathways for AI-enabled processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a subject matter expert, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for senior stakeholders and applying human judgement when evaluating AI-generated insights, recommendations, or outputs.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven experience delivering enterprise data architecture and cloud data engineering, including platform design within Wealth &amp; Asset Management environments.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deep knowledge of contextual, logical and physical data modelling practices across Front Office, Investments, Operations and Risk/Compliance, with a strong understanding of core WAM data concepts including client/householding, suitability and risk profiling, holdings/positions, trade lifecycle, pricing, performance and fees.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern data stacks, cloud migration and transformation programmes, and integration across CRM, OMS/PMS, wealth back office, custody/fund accounting, market data and reporting platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Understanding of data management tooling, security frameworks and control environments within regulated financial services, including WAM regulatory and ESG requirements such as MiFID II, SFDR, PRIIPs/KIDs and FATCA.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, alongside curiosity about practical applications of approved AI tools, automation and AI-enabled workf
