Determinism, hardware-level security, and sub-millisecond reaction times are the backbone of our airborne computing architecture.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Your Mission</strong></span></p> <p>You own the electrical subsystem architecture of the Gambit platform — from high-voltage propulsion distribution down to precision sensor power rails and flight computer avionics.<br>You aren't just designing a circuit board; you are building the nervous system and power backbone that keeps an aircraft stable and responsive under extreme flight loads and environmental stress.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Architect power distribution boards (PDB), avionics motherboards, sensor interface cards, and payload power supplies.</li> <li>Design multi-layer, high-density PCBs adhering to strict mass, thermal, and IPC-2221/IPC-A-610 standards.</li> <li>Own component selection, derating calculations, and power tree efficiency optimizations.</li> <li>Lead electrical integration, EMC/EMI shielding strategy, and ground-loop elimination across high-current powertrain and sensitive RF avionics.</li> <li>Define and document electrical ICDs interfacing powertrain, compute, datalink, and payload.</li> <li>Mentor junior and mid-level electrical engineers through design reviews and lab bring-up.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Required Skills</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>5–8 years of experience in hardware development, electronics design, and PCB layout for aerospace, robotics, or automotive applications.</li> <li>Proven track record bringing complex electromechanical systems through schematic, layout, fabrication, and flight qualification.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in ECAD tools (Altium Designer / KiCad).</li> <li>Deep knowledge of switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), battery management, reverse-polarity protection, high-current switching, and transient suppression.</li> <li>Strong pra
