You'll define the architectural standards and engineering principles that shape mobile across SharkNinja's connected product ecosystem, including SharkClean, NinjaPro Connect, and the next-generation unified app platform.</p> <p>You'll tackle the most complex technical challenges at the intersection of mobile, firmware, cloud, AI, and consumer experience — exercising independent judgment on high-stakes, ambiguous decisions with long-term implications.</p> <p>This is an IC role. Your authority comes from expertise and trust, not headcount.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p> <p><em>Solve the Hardest Technical Problems</em></p> <ul> <li>Own SharkNinja's most complex, non-recurring mobile challenges — spanning native iOS/Android, cross-platform frameworks, cloud integration, device connectivity, and AI-driven development.</li> <li>Make and defend high-stakes architecture and technology decisions with long-term impact on platform reliability and engineering velocity.</li> </ul> <p><em>Define Technical Standards and Architecture</em></p> <ul> <li>Set and evolve mobile engineering standards — architecture patterns, cross-platform strategy, testing philosophy, and production-readiness criteria.</li> <li>Define integration patterns across mobile, cloud, firmware, and connected devices, and drive React Native vs. native platform strategy.</li> <li>Evaluate emerging technologies and AI coding tools, forming clear technical points of view.</li> </ul> <p><em>Lead Technical Thought Leadership</em></p> <ul> <li>Serve as SharkNinja's go-to authority on mobile engineering across Mobile, Firmware, Cloud, Hardware, Product, and Design.</li> <li>Lead design reviews and communities of practice that raise engineering quality org-wide.</li> </ul> <p><em>Elevate Engineering Capability</em></p> <ul> <li>Mentor senior and staff engineers through proximity to hard problems.</li> <li>Build reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and documentation that outlast any single project.</li> <li>Champion AI-driven development workflows across the mobile org.</li> </ul> <p><em>Advance AI-Ready Mobile Architecture</em></p> <ul> <li>Define how the mobile platform integrates with AI — on-device inference, AI-powered features, and data contracts connecting mobile to cloud-based AI services.</li> <li>Solve mobile/AI integration challenges with no established playbook, ensuring the platform is built for the AI-powere
