Now we aim to own the upmarket M&A segment and establish Ideals as the Tier 1 brand in that space - translating market leadership into stronger brand equity, pipeline, and revenue. We're looking for a VP of Marketing to make this happen. You'll lead a high-performing global team and shape the marketing function end-to-end: positioning and category authority, a scalable demand engine, and the operating system behind it. This is a builder's role for a strategic, data-driven leader who wants their work to show up in commercial results, not just in brand tracking. This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, or the Netherlands.   What you will do Define how Ideals wins You'll own positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and GTM plans across every product, segment, and region – the strategic foundation everything else in marketing builds on. Build category authority From industry events, reports, and benchmarks to media relations, executive visibility, and speaking programmes - you'll make Ideals the name the upmarket M&A segment thinks of first, and keep every external touchpoint aligned with our brand positioning. Turn attention into pipeline You'll drive demand generation across paid and organic channels, ABM, content, and nurture, then guide the team capturing it through search, review platforms, intent data, and conversion optimisation. As the Key Accounts Sales team scales, you'll direct regional programmes into each market's sales plan and own the result end to end against pipeline and revenue targets. Run marketing as a system You'll own the martech and analytics stack, attribution, KPI framework, and ROI reporting – plus the marketing budget, agencies, and strategic vendors – so every decision is data-driven, and every dollar is accountable. Lead the people who make it happen You'll hire, develop, and lead a global team, and work shoulder to shoulder with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive cohesive business growth. What you bring 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong SaaS background 4+ years in a senior marketing leadership role within a fast-growing company, with responsibility for the broader marketing function Proven experience leading and scaling diverse high-performing marketing teams, including hiring, talent development, and performance management Brand marketing portfolio with proven activation expertise across diverse channels and markets Hands-on experience across content, design, and growth initiatives, with the ability to go deep when needed Track record scaling digital and field marketing programs that measurably grew pipeline and revenue Solid understanding of demand generation and ABM initiatives Successful track record of implementing marketing initiatives based on analytical and data-driven decisions Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude Fluency in English (C1+ level) Nice to have Experience in M&A, Investment Banking, or Financial Services, with a strong understanding of the dealmaking ecosystem What we offer We highly value our people, so we will empower you with all the resources and support to help you reach your full potential.   For your best work Remote-first flexi
