Specialising in heavily-regulated industries where quality and safety are key, we’re experienced in all aspects of the project lifecycle from definition and feasibility to detailed design and site monitoring.&nbsp;</p> <p>We are actively recruiting across this capability to support a growing portfolio of live projects and welcome applications from Senior and Principal-level contractors to join the team to support the workload.</p> <p>Our Electrical Services teams work across a range of UK projects, delivering complex solutions within Nuclear, Defence and other regulated sectors, alongside wider infrastructure and energy environments.&nbsp;</p> <p>Roles are available across multiple locations.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>What you will be doing</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <div>Deliver engineering design and consultancy services for BakerHicks under the direction of the line manager or project lead.</div> </li> <li> <div>Produce design outputs (drawings, specifications, reports), undertake site surveys, support construction stages, liaise with clients and design/construction teams, manage projects, oversee costing, and ensure progress against the project brief.</div> </li> <li> <div>Check calculations and detailed drawings to ensure designs meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations.</div> </li> <li> <div>Work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.</div> </li> <li> <div>Maintain an understanding of CDM requirements.</div> </li> </ul> <p><br>Projects range from early design through to delivery and operational support, providing exposure to technically challenging and safety‑critical environments.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></h3> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li data-section-id="9o5f4y" data-start="95" data-end="226">Confidence in producing high-quality designs, with the technical capability to carry out independent checks and ensure accuracy.</li> <li data-section-id="1iqopol" data-start="227" data-end="377">A strong awareness of commercial considerations, with the ability to identify and flag potential risks or concerns where appropriate.</li> <li data-section-id="ksehg" data-start="378" data-end="565">A solid understanding of project delivery and people management principles, enabling effective anticipation of challenges and proactive escalation of risks or recommendations.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Eligibility</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ideally Chartered Engineer status, or working towards (CEng CIBSE or CEng IET)</li> <li>Eligible to obtain SC clearance at minimum&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Considerable design, technical detailing and specification writing experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Possess a working knowledge of BIM Level 2 Delivery.&nbsp;</li> <li>Possess a working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, NBS and Amtech/Trimble, or ideally exposure to Electrical OM</li> <li>Experience working in integrated, multi‑discipline design teams</li> <li>Familiarity with technical assurance and quality processes</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Security &amp; Project Requirements</strong></p> <p>Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance or security assurance levels.&nbsp;The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.&nbsp;In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.</p> <p>Further i
