<h4>Lead Solution &amp; Enterprise Architect</h4> <p><strong>Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Technology &amp; Engineering | Type: Permanent</strong></p> <p>Lead transformative architecture to redefine the future of financial services.</p> <h4>The Role</h4> <p>At Capco, you will play a pivotal role in delivering some of our clients’ most complex and high-profile transformation programmes, drawing on your expertise in enterprise and solution architecture.</p> <p>You will move between hands-on solution design, collaborating closely with engineers, and articulating compelling enterprise visions to senior stakeholders. Your work will influence key technology decisions and business outcomes, leveraging approved AI-enabled tools and workflows where appropriate to enhance architectural insight, design quality and delivery efficiency.</p> <p>You will oversee architecture across business, data, application and technology domains, guide cross-functional teams and support the development of colleagues. You will also contribute to the growth of our Technology &amp; Engineering Practice through community leadership, delivery excellence and business development, while championing responsible AI adoption, appropriate governance and human oversight in architecture decisions.</p> <h4>What You’ll Do</h4> <ul> <li> <div> <div> <p>Shape enterprise technology strategies, architecture roadmaps and governance frameworks that align technology investments with business priorities.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Design complex, scalable and resilient solutions across legacy and cloud environments, applying modern distributed architecture patterns and engineering principles.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Lead cross-functional architecture and engineering teams, promoting collaboration, delivery excellence, continuous learning and the development of colleagues.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate enterprise architecture visions and influence strategic decisions while contributing to business development and commercial opportunities.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Explore and apply approved AI tools, automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve architecture analysis, design documentation and delivery efficiency, maintaining human review, appropriate governance and clear escalation pathways.</p> </div> </div> </li> </ul> <h4>What We’re Looking For</h4> <ul> <li> <div> <div> <p>Proven experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, shaping technology strategies, roadmaps and governance across complex organisations.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Strong solution architecture expertise across legacy and cloud environments, including at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Experience applying modern distributed architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven, containerised, serverless and zero-trust architectures.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Ability to build trusted senior stakeholder relationships, guide cross-functional technical teams and deliver through agile and DevOps practices, supported by recognised architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, Domain-driven Design or NIST.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Curiosity about AI-enabled ways of working, with an understanding of how approved AI tools can support architecture activities while preserving professional judgement, security, responsible AI principles and appropriate human oversight.</p> </div> </div> </li> </ul> <h4>Bonus Points For</h4> <ul> <li> <div> <div> <p>Senior-level consulting experience, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries with complex compliance, risk and security requirements.</p> </div> </div> </li> <li> <div> <div> <p>Experience leading pre-sales activities, proposals or bids, including commercial owne
